Night in Bethlehem
Part of a larger work entitled The Holy Child by Horatio Parker, “Night in Bethlehem” describes the angelic announcement of a newborn savior to shepherds watching over their flocks.
Special Stage—Jennifer Freye, soprano
One Small Child, arranged by Loyd Larson
Come Unto Him, from Messiah, G.F. Handel
Global Cheers
Hine Ma Tov
“How good it is, and how pleasant, for people to dwell together in unity.”
African Noel
African Noel is a jubilant setting of a traditional African Christmas folk song.
Hope for Resolution
In it’s juxtaposition of a European chant melody and an anti-apartheid song from South Africa, this piece is a celebration of diversity.
